UCSB "insiders" access to course and student information. Includes  Student Access and Reporting (STAR), Student Registration System (SREG), and Student System Department Access

Gaucho Online Data (GOLD)

Students access (and advisors emulate) schedules, register for quarter, check grades, order transcripts, follow progress, and update their infomation

Master Course Approval (MCA)

Academic Senate system for establishing and updating courses.

Secure, cloud-based storage for the entire UCSB community.

DocuSign

Share and virtually sign documents. Advanced features allow users to create workflows (approval chains).

Google Hangouts

Part of the Google suite available to UCSB community that features instant messaging over the internet, voice, and video calls. Allows staff to call students without caller ID.

QLess 

A system to create virtual lines that notify students when they can expect to be called back by staff. Can also be used as an appointment system.  Currently used by the Billing Office, Career Services, Letters and Science Advising, the Registrar, and Student Health. Shoreline

A portal managed by student affairs to support student engagement. Includes a calendar that advisors can use to manage student appointments.

Zoom

Video conferencing software that is particularly important for advising international student who may not have phone access. Webinar licenses are available for units considering large-scale presentations.
